MILHOC STUDIO

Privacy

Milhoc Studio collects as little as possible: neither this website nor the software tracks you.

This website

No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, nothing loaded from another site: fonts and images are served by this site itself.

Like any web server, our host's server keeps the IP address and requested page in a technical log, for the security of the service.

If you write to us, we keep your message and address to reply, and share them with no one.

The “notify me” list

If you sign up to be notified at launch, we keep your email address (and, if you ticked it, your wish to test La Taverne) to write to you about it: the opening of the Steam page and the launch. Nothing else, and we share it with no one. You can unsubscribe at any time, from any email or by writing to us.

La Taverne, the software

La Taverne sends no personal data to Milhoc Studio: no account, no analytics, no advertising.

Your tables, campaigns, character sheets and images stay on the GM's computer, in the Documents\La Taverne folder. During a session, players connect directly to the GM's computer over an end-to-end encrypted link.

To find each other, copies of La Taverne use public rendezvous servers and, if a direct connection fails, a relay. These servers see participants' IP addresses for the duration of the session. They cannot read the traffic, which stays encrypted, and Milhoc Studio's relay keeps neither addresses nor traffic.

Steam verifies your purchase under its own privacy policy.
